Long-wavelength laser hair reduction tailored safely across skin tones.
Laser hair removal uses long-wavelength energy to target hair follicles and reduce regrowth over time. With three laser platforms, treatments can be tailored safely across skin tones for face, body, and bikini areas.
Skin is cooled, and the laser device is matched to your specific skin tone and hair type from our three platform options.
Long-wavelength energy targets melanin in each hair follicle, disabling the follicle’s ability to regenerate hair.
5 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for full results. Some areas may need annual maintenance.
All laser hair removal pricing is per single session. Hair reduction is seen after the first session, with full results typically requiring a series of 5 to 8 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. We use three platforms (InMode Diolaze, Sciton 1064 Nd:YAG, and Sciton Forever Bare BBL) so the right device can be matched to each patient’s skin and hair type.
Diolaze for fast, comfortable treatment of large areas. 1064 Nd:YAG for deeper-skin tones with exceptional safety. Forever Bare BBL for fine hair and sensitive areas. Your dermatologist will select the device that produces the best results for your skin and hair type.
Yes. Our three-platform approach makes it safe across all Fitzpatrick skin types. The Sciton 1064 Nd:YAG, in particular, is the safest laser for Fitzpatrick V and VI skin tones.
Diolaze (810nm diode) is fast and comfortable for large areas in lighter to medium skin tones. 1064 Nd:YAG is the safest option for darker skin tones. Forever Bare BBL uses rapid pulses ideal for fine hair and sensitive areas. Your dermatologist will select the device that produces the best results for your skin and hair type.
Lasers target melanin (pigment) in the hair, so they work best on darker hair. Light, blonde, white, or red hair contains little melanin and typically responds poorly. Electrolysis remains the gold standard for non-pigmented hair.
It produces permanent hair reduction — typically 80% or more. Most patients have a small percentage of hairs that may regrow over time and benefit from maintenance sessions.
5 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart are typically required for full results. Hair grows in cycles, and only follicles in the active growth phase respond — which is why multiple sessions are needed.
Most patients describe a quick snapping sensation at each pulse. Active surface cooling makes treatment comfortable. Sensitive areas (bikini, upper lip) are slightly more sensitive but well-tolerated.
Yes — in fact, shaving is preferred. Don’t wax, pluck, or thread between sessions because the laser needs an intact hair follicle to target. Shaving leaves the follicle intact while removing surface hair.
