Skin examinations / skin cancer screenings constitute an important part of the practice and Dr. Geyer, Dr. Granite, and Dr. Dolder are experts in identifying and treating the entire range of benign, pre-malignant, and malignant skin growths, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, actinic keratoses, and dysplastic nevi (atypical moles).
Surgical excisions are performed in the office. Commonly excised lesions include malignant neoplasms, cysts, lipomas, and nevi (moles). Careful surgical technique is utilized to minimize scarring. Electrocautery and cryosurgery are also incorporated to treat a variety of benign, malignant, and pre-cancerous lesions.
